"Veeram", directed by "Siruthai" Siva, will have Ajith appearing in a rural avatar. The 2 minute and 12 second trailer stars Ajith as a man beating baddies and it also showcases the love life of the actor. Ajith will be seen romancing Tamannaah Bhatia, who is the lead actress in the flick. The 42-year-old will be seen in a white shirt and dhoti mainly but his salt and pepper look will also not be a miss.
Ajith has performed several car stunts in the flick and that will remain the high light of the movie. The Tamil action-masala film directed by Shiva and is financed by Bharathi Reddy.
The film revolves around Ajith and his four brothers played by Bala ("Anbu"), Vidarth ("Myna"), Suhail (Formula 1 driver, Karun Chandhok's brother) and young actor Munish. Tamannah, Santhanam, Pradeep Rawat, Nassar, Ramesh Khanna, Thambi Ramaiya, Appukutty, and Vidyullekha Raman will also appear in pivotal roles.
"Veeram" has completed the censor formalities and received a clean "U" certificate from the censor board. Ajith will be a happy man as the "U" certificate will exempt the film from entertainment tax. Interestingly, the actor's last release "Arrambam" had also received a "U" and turned out to be a major hit at the box office.
Expectations are sky high for "Veeram", thanks to Ajith who enjoys a massive fan following worldwide. "It's a complete entertainer that everyone can watch and this Is proved by the censor board's faith in giving us a U certificate," a source close to the unit told.
The action entertainer is gearing up for a massive release on 10 January 2014.

Ajith’s Veeram Teaser 2 Official Video
A new teaser of Ajith’s upcoming Tamil film “Veeram” was released on December 5th evening. The 32 -second teaser is pure mass, and Ajith wearing veshti and white shirt has reached across to the masses. The song in the background by Devi Sri Prasad and mass appearance of Ajith is electrifying.
Ajith walks in with his pride of four brothers in the beginning of the teaser. With Devi Sri Prasad’s catchy new number, ‘Nallavannu Solvanga Nambidadheenga’ in the background, this 32 second teaser exhibits the different faces of Ajith in the movie- an action hero, a naughty man, a do gooder and the one who celebrates. But what follows is the biggest highlight. Ajith, known for his simple dialogues, has yet again delivered one through this teaser. The new meme is likely to be, “Enna Naan Soldradhu...”
The film starring Ajith and Tamannaah in the lead cast. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the film produced by Vijaya Productions. The movie also has Vidharth, Santhanam, Pradeep Rawat, Ramesh Khanna, Appukutty and Abhinaya.
Ajith's Veeram is set to hit the screens for Pongal next year on January 10th 2014.
